PESHAWAR: A government official says a large explosion has ripped through a police compound in Kohat.
Khalid Omarzai, a top official in the garrison city, says the Tuesday evening blast rocked the complex housing officers’ homes, a training facility and a commercial area. He says several houses collapsed, and casualties are feared.
